Why do NBMembers think that Itachi has aids? Is there any evidence?

I honestly don't think anyone actually believes that, it's just spouted out as an inside joke. (I even joke about it often but don't believe it.) I remember seeing a thread on another forum pointing to another real life disease with matching symptoms and everything, but I could never find it again :/

EDIT: Did a quick search on the matter, I found what is very likely the page I accessed earlier, and it's not forum, but it is Naruto-related.

^This is actually the most compelling theory I've seen about Itachi's illness.

I met Kishi at Comi-con and can confirm both Itachi's AIDS and that this man is Kishi's cousin in law.
And I met this guy, who had me confirm that he had Kishi confirm that the dude he's talking about is in fact Kishi's cousin in law who can confirm that Itachi's gravestone reads "Died of Aids".

OT:

Seriously, OP, can you not think why?

- Coughing constantly
- Weakened state
- Half blind (which has nothing to do with AIDS, granted, but still)
- Coughing up blood

what I wanna see is when Itachi first met Kurenai and Asuma, because he addressed them both by name "i think" and it may be possible that they teamed up before if at least on one mission or encountered each other in another situation.

ot: I don't think anyone actually thinks he has aids.. he coughed up blood , but what does that mean? Kimimaro also coughed up blood.
Its a disease that shows it self when the victim of the illness is using its chakra or jutsu
