Geez, you can't read! In chapter 678, Sasuke says that people fall into the genjutsu(Infinite/Mugen Tsukuyomi) due to the moonlight.He only summoned the hawk after the moonlight had diminshed.But yes, Genjutsu works on things with chakra-check chapter 677 even the cats are caught in the Genjutsu.Sorry if I was rude in the beginning.
