Why do Naruto Manga/Anime fans complain for a possible Part3 if they will read/watch it for free?

I wonder that myself. So many threads about how the manga is trash, the anime is trash, etc. But the people saying this stuff are still going to read the manga and watch the anime. If you really hate it that much, don't watch. Damn. It's simple. Nobody has a gun to your head, forcing you to pay attention to something you claim to dislike so much.

They want closure to a manga that has been going on for years. If they don't read it, they will feel as if they're missing out on the lives, although fictional, that they've been following. They are also afraid it will lower in quality and ruin the series for them if they do read it.

Some people actually buy volumes you know. And i don't think anyone flat out "hates" Naruto, they just believe it's not what it used to be, in which case I agree. Also it would make no sense to drop something you've been following for 10 years just because the quality went down imo, that's another reason people complain.

Obviously...nothing stays the same...they are stupid to even dislike imo.

Its ok to disagree...but to say you dislike or hate it now is stupid because you obviously still follow, watch, read, and talk about it.

I don't know I kind of understand it. Like, after investing so much time in a story you kinda wanna know how it ends. I don't know why anyone who really hates everything would stay on NB though - i agree that's stupid.

i realised its not that the quality dropped... we simply grew up.

Kishimoto has a lot of potencial but he just writes for Kids, when you wont really search for plot holes.

Kishi does not mind changing main characters as he pleases or having a main character who will never show us what he can do alone(kyuubi).

he will create explosions and susano'o from nowhere and the kids will jump up and down.

personally this whole naruto+kyuubi thing pisses me off...
