Masashi Kishimoto stopped his manga because he said it was so time consuming having to draw a chapter a week. So if its so time consuming why don't they just skip the manga process & make it straight into an anime? He would still have control over the story & character design & it would probably be less tiresome that way & maybe with his direct oversight he'd be able to make sure the quality of the animation was better. Idk it just seems to me it'd be more simple & easier this way, & that would go for every other manga.

believe it or not, some people prefer a manga over an anime....

Well he'd still lose freedom of his own series if he gives it off to Pierrot (even if he does the character designs/story). You make it sound like they hate their jobs but they're passionate about drawing these chapters. When did Kishi say he stopped the manga because it was too time consuming?

I think he stopped cos he want to make another new manga. And yeah manga make more profit than anime too.

Better question:
Who in the world would give his/her beloved series completely into the hands of studio pierrot? Supervising or not, doesn't matter.

I doubt Kishimoto would want to be involved in filler.
