Why do Itachi fans and Sasuke fans do this?

I know I'm no too old on this forum, but I want to share what I have seen so far. It's not for every Itachi/Sasuke fan, I am just generalizing.

So on to the topic, why do some Itachi fans hate Sasuke and some Sasuke fans hate Itachi? I have seen many of these fans hating each other's characters. But why should you do that? I mean, in the Manga, both are brothers and after knowing the truth, they became very close to each other. Sasuke even cried for Itachi's death.

Itachi cared so much for Sasuke that he killed all Uchihas other than his beloved little brother.

So I think at least you both fans should co-operate with each other.

That's easy. Because they want their favorite character to be everyone's favorite character. Then when someone says their favorite character stinks, they want to keep fighting and throw facts and abilities and strengths to prove how much better their character is then their character. Then they go back and forth and back and forth...

But in my opinion, as an Itachi fan myself, I do respect both of them.

You should rephrase that. DANZO told Itachi he could have his brother spared and even after that Itachi's own Father told Itachi to protect Sasuke at all costs. I don't want you to make Itachi's judements seem selfish because they aren't.

I agree though nonetheless.

I don't think Itachi's judgement are selfish. He did the right thing.
