...people think Sakura thought Sarada how to use the "punching" technique. Sasukra was never noted to teach her anything, or train with her like boruto does with Naruto, or how Sakura did with Tsunade. Sakura was suprised like the rest at her daughter's new found skill
There's no way she'd be suprised if she knew her daughter could do it. Even chochou who seems like her bff and they probably train together in the academy and know each other's jutsus, as seen when they coordinated their attack against shin jnr
I'll bet sarada just picked up that jutsu. She's been stated to be a top shinobi in her class, at least better than most
She didn't have her sharingan yet, but her skills were already acknowledged by someone who is already well versed in her KKG.
Sarada seems like the curious type, she's an uzumaki (until proven otherwise), and an uchiha. Karin was a well versed medical ninja, and all medics have chakra control over average shinobi, and uzumaki's skill in fuijutsus make put them above most shinobi in chakra control also (try to remember when shizune, sakura, ino and hinata tried to seal the three tails). They all had the chakra control enough to do it (except ino, a little bit). Even hinata, because of her byakugan, which overall implies dojutsu users are quite skilled in this aspect also.
This is probably why sasuke doesn't bother teaching her anymore, because she won't listen to him much (that I know), and also she's good to go for her chuunin exams, while other kids keep training with their parents.
She kinda reminds me of kakashi, no special trainings, just picking up jutsus. If she continues this way, with her new sharingan, she'd be more like him (except more chakra and potential + uchiha and uzumaki descendant).
