I mean I understand when fillers have a connection to the canon to be created in a fine way since they can be considered a part of the canon. What I don't understand is why they do it when it has nothing to do with it. For instance, a filler called "Sai's day off" was animated Hiroyuki Yamashita! I mean seriously! Is there any reason behind it in any economical way? Is there any clever reason for prefering to use good animators in fillers instead of canon?
