I find it annoying too; i like the voice actors of Tsunade from Naruto, or Olivier Mira Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood; but they are adults; most teen girls sound annoying; girls do not have that much of high-pitched voices at those ages, maybe in Japan they find it cute because they sound somewhat childish; but it seems wrong to me.
