They say that when a jinchuriki dies ,the tailed beast does not die with them and gets revived after some time, but then how did it happen that after Minato sealed the yin kurama into himself and died, the yin nine tails wasn't revived ??Is this a loohole or an exception to the reaper death seal ?

lol you already mentioned it. its because minato sealed it together with reaper death seal. and naruto has the other half. if both kurama were in one body and he died, then kurama died too

I think this may be an exception to the reaper death seal .Since the RDS sealed Minato's soul(or chakra since i guess its somehow connected to the soul).I think it also tells that a tailed beast is not just physically sealed into a person, but is somehow spiritually connected to the host too.So when minato's soul ,along with his chakra was sealed, yin went with him.
