Why didn't sasuke use susano to protect himself?

ok maybe not susano crushing him xD but he could have easily escape from this situation, something is odd.
Maybe he used hashirama's jutsu or he used izanami ?

Madara is just too fast. We all know that activating suzano is not instant, while Madara can attack and react to ftg which shows his speed.

Cuz Madara would have just absorbed it and probably Hashi's chakra along with it. Kishi sparred Sasuke by having him get stabbed. That jutsu Hashi gave Sasuke might be the key to defeating Madara + it will make a great transition to showcase his power up next chapter

the characters are not chess pieces (they experience shock/confusion)/can't always think for the perfect solution for EVERY situation, and Sasuke got caught off guard with something that he didn't understand/possibly stopping him from doing anything.

anyways, i might not like Sasuke but, i still don't think he would foolishly rush in like that without a plan (after realizing Madara's power/seeing what he is capable of) ...........................
this is probably a trick, Sasuke is up to something (whatever Hashi gave him).

Difference is that iatchi had foreseen the attack compared to Sasuke. So it is assumed that preparations is already underway to activate the susano just in time before the lightning hits him. Thus activation iOS still not instant, where as Madara can react and attack someone who's using an instant attack as ftg.
