If Sasuke can control the Nine-Tails with his eyes, what difference would a lack of an Eight Trigrams Seal make? If Sasuke were to re-enter the mindscape, regardless of whether a seal is in place or not, he can still use genjutsu with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Actually your logic is the same as saying the Hyuga can open Gates Chakra points since the manga said they can control any chakra point. Anyways, not arguing this any further until I see a scan. Cry plot all you want, it isn't changing the fact that Sasuke took an L from Naruto even with the power of 8 bijuus backing him up.

In both anime's and the Japanese manga, Kurama compares Sasuke's chakra to his own. I wouldn't be surprised if a fan went out of their way to remove any indication of Sasuke's power or chakra rivaling or surpassing Kurama's in any form.

Bold was covered during Obito vs Naruto and Bee battle...conveniently Obito was using a combo pairing of Sharingan and Rinnegan (Obito also actually had a feat of using Genjutsu on Kurama while he was inside a Jinchuuriki...Kushina) Yet it was pointed out that he couldn't enter the deeper level of consciousness Naruto gained access to by syncing with Kurama.
