Why didn't sakura crush the eye?

she had ample time to do it and obito very carefully explained why it would be extremely bad for the entire world if she were to not crush the eye. furthermore he was about to be taken over by a madara zombie and was only barely holding it off. it was incredibly obvious if the eye wasn't destroyed soon madara would get it.

why didn't she do it? she hasn't had much time to shine in the war so far, and crushing the eye might have made a difference between saving the whole world and destroying it. she's supposed to be a gifted medical ninja too so she should be able to do it more painlessly than anyone else

she had tons of time. he literally had time to explain to her the exact reason why he needed his eye destroyed and at any time she could have said "okay lets do it" and destroyed the eye.

the way kishi writes female characters sometimes is really annoying. why do they always have to mess up and have the guys save the day?

also I know obito has the hearts heart thing going on but maybe he should have teleported himself back and had them destroy the eye if it was such a big deal.

obviously they'll still win anyway so this would be a bad thing if sakura died because of it.

Kishi has been having a lot of characters make dumb mistakes lately,
Minato, gave kyuubi to BZ
Sasuke, failed to block own sword with susanoo
Madara spit out tools that would lead to his own demise
All of it was done for the sake of plot. Accept it and move on.
