Why didn't raikage remove his skin instead of his whole arm(because of amaterasu)?

and by the time you remove your skin, amaterasu will burn more than just a hand
so he just sacrificed his hand

you guys dont understand fire melts skin. he would have to carve out flesh the skin would have been gone almost at once as it is said to burn really hot my hand was on fire for maybe 20 second tops ,aybe 10 and i had 3rd degree burns on 3 fingers needed skin grapgs and sh!t it sucked so the reason he didnt do it ..............NO SKIN TO PEEL there is your answer fella

amaterasu had covered his gold bracelet as well as his hand, he couldn't remove the gold bracelet as it would need use of his other hand, which would then be set on fire, only option= cut his hand off
