Why didn't Orochimaru use Edo Tensei for himself?

Edo Tensei is damn OP. The power-up you get when you're revived with it is TOO DAMN HIGH.

Didn't anyone in the manga ever thought of dying and having somebody use Edo Tensei on them? I'm sure there are enough power-hungry individuals in narutoverse who would jump at such possibility.

Even Orochimaru... Kabuto was badly loyal to him and Oro knew it. He could have made Kabuto use Edo on him and then give him free will.
I guess Orochimaru didn't know about the seal Madara used to totally separate himself from Edo, but still - Kabuto would not betray him.

Endless chakra, undying and recovering body... isn't that what Orochimaru would like the most?

He wasn't controlling Kabuto. He would have to trust Kabuto to revive him, but we've seen that Kabuto would rather use Oro to find himself.

There must be some draw back to it that we have yet to see. Also it is a bit strange Madara didn't do this shortly after finding out that he was under control.
I'm sure Orochimaru knows of the seal and based on his greed for power, there must be a severe drawback in this to discourage him.

Orochimaru probably didn't know the jutsu that Madara used. After all, if Orochimaru had known about it, Kabuto probably would have known about it as well, but Kabuto clearly didn't forsee this.

orochimaru had no idea that Kabuto could use that jutsu...Kabuto only developed it after he got some of Oro's chakra...besides orochimaru is not careless to let someone use such a terrifying jutsu...it could backfire!
