Why didn't Orochimaru simply implant Uzumaki, Hozuki and Jugo DNA into his own body?

I mean, it seems like something he would do, but as far as we know, he hasn't. Why?

I don't like the whole "implanting-DNA-to-get-Godlike-powers" business, in fact I absolutely loathe it, but if Kabuto could do it, nothing should stop Orochimaru, the stronger of the two, from doing it, right?

And please don't tell me it's just because Kabuto's blood group is AB because if you do I might kick a puppy and swear vengeance on something.

Because of the way Oro swaps bodies it would not have any real long term effect. Once he gets an Uchiha body then he most likely would apply some DNA enhancements. Kabuto on the other hand is currently not interested in changing bodies so it does benefit him to add the DNA from others.

You should never kick a puppy however it is acceptable to kick a kitten.

Especially Jugo's dna. He was waiting to get sasuke's body ? And we don't know if the abilities would go to waste. All the souls of the previous host are transfered along with his when he performs his jutsu ( source : narutopedia ). Sasuke had orochimaru's abilities when he absorbed oro's soul so I believe that the abilities are transfered as well

That's why he is always searching for the perfect body, so he can do all of those things as you have mentioned OP.

It only implies that he needs to find a perfect body which could take all of the assimilation of abilities, just like Kabuto did.
Kabuto is just lucky that his own body sufficed.

1 - I believe he was talking about Sage Mode only

2 - If Kabuto had that ability, why didn't Orochimaru take control of his body instead of the random fodder?

Because Kabuto was the person who kept Orochimaru alive when that 3 year period came to an end. Orochimaru may be a genius but Kabuto's medical abilities are something Orochimaru could probably never touch.

And, this is anime. Who gives a rats ass about science?

Jugo's dna was used for experiments at the time when Oro needed a body, he needed to see the effects and whether it worked. After doing so he used this on his subjects majority of his time. Oro even wanted Kimmaruo's body over Jugo's dna I think because of risk.
