Why didn't Orochimaru kill Kabuto?

I know there are a lot of Orochimaru threads right now, and I'm sorry for making another one, but there's one thing on my mind.

Why didn't Orochimaru kill Kabuto? I mean, couldn't he have taken all of Kabuto's chakra? Orochimaru seems different...still a creep, but he's all willing to help Sasuke and everything. I expected him to take control of the war or something, but he's being...sort of kind. Just a thought.

He wouldn't really take control of the war because he said already he don't want to get involve, and with that being said... yeah he is not really all jumpy and crazy trying to combat people off the bat.

I think due to the fact he already saw a lot of stuff going on between tobi, kabuto, and sasuke while being inside anko.

back on topic, he didn't kill kabuto because he probably still need he's help later on.. after all they're old partners and always handy to keep a medical-nin as your helper..

Why would Oro kill the guy that stayed with him through most, if not all of his trials and tribulations? The guy that cared for him when he couldn't use his arms? The guy who saved Anko so that he could come back? And yes Kabuto most likely did know that Oro was still alive in Anko and he probably wanted Sasuke's body so that he could feed it to Oro. Point is Kabuto is his butt-buddy and he's not gonna give up free ass lol

I'm starting to think that Orochimaru may have left him like that so he could come out of Izanami by himself - so he can accept himself. Which is oddly nice of Oro and shows that he may have the slightest bit of compassion left. I also think that he turned Sm off so Kabuto didn't turn to stone.

On a side not Oro said he wasn't powerful enough to take over Sasuke's body, so he may just be playing nice for the moment.

a better question is why Orochimaru believes his chakra is different when he retrieved it from Kabuto. It seems like Kabuto may have planned for this situation too and has imprinted himself or perhaps some of his sage chakra into Orochimaru's.
