When Obito saw Rin die, he got quite upset and disposed of all the ninja at the scene and he especially beat down the mist ninja who tried to retrieve Rin. Why didn't he kill Kakashi the man who actually did the thing that made him angry or at least try to wake him up and ask him why did he kill Rin?

I thought about it and it honestly does make sense to kill him. That was the moment he turned to the darkness, going straight back to Madara afterwards.

I guess since he was still Kakashi's friend at the time, and his turning evil was an insidious process is the only explanation

He went crazy attacking those who were attacking him. Kakashi passed out and was not visible and Obito was clouded by rage at the Ninja world itself not Kakashi, who was his friend.

When the fighting was done ge realized everyone was a victim of the ninja world including Kakashi.

Plus he knew them both well enough to know Rin did herself in with that chidori.

Foo did you read the manga or watch the anime right. He said it himself that it didn't matter that what he was gonna do was pretty much erase that kakashi and make his ideal kakahsi friend that he once knew(obviously he didnt say this part but it basically what he meant though he did say it didn't matter anymore cause he was gonna make a better world)

Tbh, I have no clue lol. Obito's emotions and mentality are all over the place and that's why I had a hard time liking his character. He sees Kakashi impale Rin but he leaves Kakashi alone. He could take back his MS anytime but instead let's the enemy use it. He loses his mind when becoming the juubi jinchuriki but instead of just thinking of Rin he pieces his mental state together by thinking about Kakashi and Minato too.

Kakashi was his friend, the closest thing he had to a brother. He figured that Kakashi wouldn't just straight up kill Rin, so he was confused. And after killing all of the mist ninja, he was more sadden at the loss of Rin than enraged at Kakashi for killing her under circumstances he knew he didn't fully understand. Plus he wanted to give Kakashi happiness in his new world.

Your right obito honestly should have killed kakashi their and taken his sharingan but plot says obito knew rin did it herself or w,e the case may be because he focuses all his anger on mist ninja who reeally didnt just finish impaling rin so it confuses me but were led to believe obito is good friends with kakashi so he didnt attack because he was already incapacitated still doesnt show y he doesnt at least steal kakashis sharingan back or something i nean can you imagine dms obito the masked man allday who would conuter ? I dont think it simple to answer it but my opinion on this matter sound like this...This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.
