i like obito, he's my top character on character usage on naruto generations, but the sooner we can get over his death, the sooner we can solve other problems.

If Madara and Zetsu found Obito, Madara could have order Zetsu to keep Obito alive at all cost, We know Zetsu can copy DNA and powers of those He absolves chakra from. Madara saving Obito and indoctrinating Him to His cause is not out of the question.

Almost crushed is not completely crushed. If half of your body would get really completely crushed in an instant, be sure youre gonna die in seconds.
So I guess that was not the case.
