Why didn't Naruto use any summons during his fight with Sasuke in VOTE 1?

If he used a frog it would probably get hurt by Sasuke's katon. Also I'm sure naruto wanted to do it by himself until he noticed he couldn't take Sasuke on without kuruma

Because the Boss Summon is OP. You don't want any amphibians jumping out on Sasuke.

Against Gaara's full transformation of Shukaku Naruto use Gmabunta to combat the Tailed Beast. He succeeded in closing the distance depsite no TBB's being used in the fight or as long as I can remember none were used.

Yeah I guess, but if he really wanted to bring Sasuke back he should of used his summoning skills. They shouldn't not had taught him it if they knew he wasn't gonna use it.
