Why didn't nagato cover his rinnegan

He has both Uchiha DNA - Madara's eyes - and Senju - Uzumaki - thus he can wield it without any penalty.

Also his chakra is colossal.

I don't think he ever deactivated it.

Nagato can't deactivate his Rinnegan because he got it implanted into him.

To be able to activate/deactivate Rinnegan like Madara switching Rinnegan/EMS you need to be Madara, cause he's the only one capable of, why ?

You need to go trough a whole process,

1 Tomoe > 2 Tomoe > 3 Tomoe > Mangekyou Sharingan > Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan > Obtaining Senju DNA > Rinnegan.

And only Madara was able to accomplish something like awakening Rinnegan.

I mean everyone who has a transplanted doujutsu needs to cover it due to the amount of strain it puts on the users chakra, such as kakashi, danzo and that dude with the byakugan with Mei always keep their eyes covered coz it can't be deactivated and consumes a great deal of chakra, so how was nagato able to keep it active all the time without any major strain on his chakra, anybody willing to explain??

Because if he would be covering it readers would figure out right away that the rinnegan didn't belong to him from the start

I'm sure there's a simple answer, but for me it's as simple as this: Madara knew what he was doing when he gave away his eyes and i'm sure he had a very good reason for choosing Nagato out of any/every other person on the planet to give his Rinnegan too... he knew Nagato would be compatible and he knew he'd have no need to cover them. also, we don't know much about how the Rinnegan works in conjunction with one's body. it could be that they use very little chakra simply by being "on." but also, Nagato has TONS of chakra, as was evident by the fact that he sent out enough chakra to fully control 6 whole bodies, each using the rinnegan, and was able to fight for quite an extended period of time while fighting in that fashion. He fought many people in Konoha, then used enough chakra to blow up the entire village, then continued with the other 5 paths, regained the Shinra Tensei ability rather quickly considering how much chakra it must have used, and was also able to use Chibaku Tensei after that and yeah... he displayed a HUGE chakra reserve in his one-man/6 body war against the Leaf and Madara knew from the start Nagato would be compatible with the Rinnegan.
