Why didn't Nagato bring Yahiko back to life?

Simple question: Why didn't Nagato use Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique on Yahiko?

Either I missed something or Nagato is just an idiot. I mean he used Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique on all of Konoha and everyone was revived but he can't use it for his best friend? There has to be a reason.

Although I honestly believe that Yahiko would be pissed if Nagato gave his life for him. Not to mention that witout Nagato's powers their vision of peace could never be achieved and Nagato was full aware of this.

Oh! And please guys... the "by the time he learned how to use it was too late" is bullshit. He was meant to use it on Madara who died long before Yahiko.

I would guess that when he uses that technique it has the same effect as say the..... death reaper seal. Not exactly the same, but you would have to offer your own life to use the technique.

He wouldn't have died. Nagato only died using the jutsu because he was very low on chakra. Unless he only had 1 rinnegan then he would not be sacrificing himself.

The reviving of Madara with the Rinnegan implies it can be done.

Aparently the only difference between Rinne Tensei and what Chiou did to Gaara is that Rinne Tensei allows you to revive more people at once!

Do you guys not read the manga? Obito told Nagato he would teach him to use those eyes, but yahiko stood in his way, after Yahiko's death. Obito was free to teach him, im betting by then it was to late, he may have already turned yahiko's body into one of the 6th paths.

he didnt revive jiraiya because he was underwater and would have drowned if he was revived with tons of water in his body and lungs.
also he might have been too far away?(maybe not)after all, nagato wasnt exactly next to anyone he revived.
