Why didn't minato kill bee?

are you serious :| ?? last time i checked, minato was a GOOD guy, and the good guys in this series don't kill anyone unless there is absolutely no other option (unless they have to). minato defeated them/forced them to retreat without bloodshed so not only that he won but, he also did it HIS way (no unnecessary bloodshed).
