WHY didn't madara

He wanted to fake his death so he could manipulate events the shadows bro. The ninja world would think he's dead. he'd awaken Rinnegan,summon the gedo mazou,implant his eyes in a young nagato, manipulate a young obito to be his pawn to further project IT and recruit Nagato, Nagato would revive him via Rinne Tensei and He would proceed with IT.

Had he used izanagi right away with hashi there, he wouldve risked getting killed again. Ruining his chances at getting rinnegan and casting IT.

Why didn't madara add fire to susanoo heating it's exterior incinerating mokuton pollen etc. Effectively creating the ultimate offence defence. Being an Indra incarnate you'd expect him to have some sort of ability.

Well konoha would've imploded so who knows. Also it makes no sense sinceMadara always knew Hashirama's fighting style and wood clone tech strategies. He sold never have lost the only reason I can see him doing this is because he wasn't sure of the outcome of what he'd read.

My thoughts exactly. It's not like we haven't seen Madara's fire burn Hashirama's Mokuton before. Should have clad his Susanoo Kurama in a coat of fire like Sasuke did with his Enton coated Susanoo.

Probably could have tipped the odds of that battle in his favor.

@OP - Madara needed to fake his death after achieving Hashirama's power. Why he sat around for years doing nothing is beyond me though.
