Was he too big, or is it because they didn't have full control over it, or because he was changing forms few times. Or it was simply not necessary, I mean Juubi was owning Shinobi Alliance anyways before Obito absobred him, but Im pretty sure it would be epic looking.

Juubi is much bigger than 50% Kurama, so is likely still quite a lot bigger than 100%. Besides, it'd be a waste of chakra considering how easily they were dominating the alliance.

as some users have said, controlling the juubi is hard enough so it's difficult to form susanoo, let alone wrapping it around the juubi. It seems to me there was necessity to use it in some occasions.

The reason is, his link with Juubi continue to weaken and when Juubi kept evolving into his actual form it's to believe that Juubi is no longer easy to control.

To use Iso Susanoo Madara need a full control on Juubi.

This. He was already expending chakra to control the Juubi. Using Iso Susano'o on the Juubi would've required greater Chakra Control and would've been uneccessary anyways when the Juubi was believed to be practically invincible.
