Why didn't Madara make his own Six Paths like Nagato did?

Zetsu have been shown to use the abilities of others, iirc.

That's cause it copies the persons chakra after touching them, zetsu is a thing, not a human, which shows why it can survive thousands of years without aging/dying/pooing/sleeping

Actually, they are kinda human. Nagato was using dead bodies.

I just remembered that Obito used the paths on the Edo Jin which made out of dust. Doesn't seem like Zetsu would be much of a problem.

Kishi nerfed Madara a lot is why, I don't see him using Zetsus but actual dead shinobi's that he gathers and imbed with his chakra rods. He could have taken the dead mist anbu that Obito killed and used them as his 6 paths, one of the summons repairs the paths bodies when they are damaged so fixing them wouldn't be an issue. Madara could have used the path path power after he got his second eye, he had chakra rods in Hashirama and Tobirama so all he had to do is remove some so they could move and control them as his paths since Nagato showed that he can use any number at a time and after Jiraiya killed the summoner and transported his body to Konoha via toad, Nagato simply replaced it with another body.

We see Obito using the 6 path with the Edo Jins and he didn't split his powers with them, in fact they were using their own jutsus which shows Nagato being nerf since his paths couldn't do this nor did Nagato used any element jutsus even thought he could use them all when he was a kid. It doesn't matter if the person you use as a path was weak alive, they get powered up with the Rinnegan which give them shared vision, enhance vision, can use chakra rods as blades or to disrupt a person they stab chakra flow, and have the chakra of the caster in them. This is Juubi Jin Madara with an enormous amount of chakra and he can use them in prefect unison as Nagato did which allows them to attack with great precision, evade counters, and counter attack themselves.

Nagato used them because he was crippled and emaciated.
It was stated that when both eyes are together and the powers are used in the host body the effects are stronger which should of been obvious given the fact nagato had to concentrate on 6 bodies at once while transmitting the signals via chakra over some distance away from the village where the pain bodies where at.

nagato chose his pain bodies for a completely different reason then obito did who purposely sought out the jinchuriki (You know the ones who were actually able to handle the tailed beast (Since everyone likes to forget that not everyone can just become a host) so the powers can be used to their full extent)

and the fact that obito only had one eye not both and stated aloud that it was taking all he had to keep them under control


Common sense people and a little bit of reading will get you quite far

Ignore them. He could have definitely used the paths of pain, but he didn't wamt anyone to know that he's alive - that's what Obito was for.

there was no point in it. His fighting days were over, and his focus went towards advancing the plan to cast MT.

The paths need to be somewhat close to the real body for it to work, so even if he used them he wouldn't have been able to send them far and do anything useful.

From what we've seen of Madara's chakra, it can be sense from the Frost country all the way to the Leaf village. Transferring chakra from a great difference shouldn't be a problem in his case.
