Why didn't Madara learn two elements ?

Secondly, why doesn't he use them? Because he has the EMS + Mokuton + Perfect Susano'o + Jubi at his disposal...

I was wondering why Madara only learned Fire.

Its not an obligation for Uchiha only to use Fire since Sasuke has learned Lightning and Fire so why can't Madara learn another element ?
He certainly lived long enough to learn it and there is not doubt that if he had he would have mastered it pretty quickly. It would also stop Fire's elemental weakness from being exploited (Mei) so he could choose Earth.

From what I have seen a lot of Jounin have two elements or more which is pretty strange and is proof that Madara could have learnt another element if he wanted to.
Kakashi: 3 elements, technically is still a Jounin.
Darui: 2 elements, not sure but I think he too is a Jounin.
Yamato: 2 elements, another Jounin
Asuma: 2 elements, another Jounin

So whats stopping Madara from learning another element ?

Just because he hasn't shown it doesn't mean he doesn't have a 2nd element, he was just playing with the Kages. Also he probably didn't see the point since he can copy any of the 5 basic elements (Fire, wind, water, earth, lightning), mastering 2 elements would allow him to maybe be able to combine them (ex. fire and wind for blaze or whatever its call, someone had the element). Most people forget that the sharingan can do that or fell to see that it could. Kakashi is the one who uses this skill of the Sharingan, his only known confirmed element is lightning. When Kakashi was describing how he couldn't add his lightning element to rasengan, if he knew another element then he would have tried adding it to rasengan since Lightning didn't work.

Plus Lightning blade was said to be to be Kakahi's only orginal jutsu (Guy said this during the chunin exam when Sasuke was using it). Kakashi only use other elements when using the Sharingan which were Earth, water, Fire. No way Kakashi has 4 elements people so don't tell me the sharingan can't do it, What the Sharingan can't do is copy element jutsus that are combined so no elements like lava. The Rasen shuriken falls into this category since its wind + Rasengan (that's 2 chakra, regular) which is also a high level chakra manipulation jutsu. The Sharingan copies the element to allow the user to use said copied jutsu but doessn't allow then to create that element on their own which is why unless they already have wind chakra they wouldn't be able to copy a jutsu like Rasen shuriken which is wind chakra being added to the rasengan.

So Madara (Being in a time of constant war) should know a good amount of jutsus from each element. Of course this is before he got the Rinnegan which gives him the power to use all elements. He still needs to know the hand seals, what the jutsu is and what to do but that's all.

Madara is the most adept fire user so far. At his level of power it's not really neccessary for him to master other nature types...he was more concerned about his clan and not being hokage.
