Why didn't Madara ever use genjutsu on Hashi?

I feel like Madara could have just used genjutsu on Hashi during every one of their fights. Why did that never happen?

I think it's because of sage mode. You know how you have to disrupt the chakra flow
In the brain by inserting a secondary chakra source(usually from a partner) Nature chakra probably does this for sages to an extent. Or his Mokuton properties of surpressing chakra may have something to do with it. Or maybe Hashi was just so strong he just "Kai" right out of it with no help at all. Who knows...:sdo:

Harishimha is an experienced Senju whom has battled several Uchiha clan members before so, He'll be capable of avoiding Genjutsu as a whole, plus his chakra level is insane and he also has Wood sage mode

Just because it wasn't shown does not mean he never tried that. And like others said , Hashi lived in an era where Senju battled against Uchiha with their Sharingans all the time.

Madara's never been the type of guy to use a genjutsu, so we don't really know.
Maybe the genjutsu that he put on the fox was already too much chakra.

Plot: He used it on Raikage but didn't use it on Hashi because of plot. He also used it on the tsuchikage I think
Anyways, its the same reason he doesn't use amaterasu against him.
Sage mode might be able to counter it but hashi did not always have sage mode. He probably learned it as an adult so that leaves the entire earlier part of his life to be put in a genjutsu.

He was immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi because he was reanimated via Edo Tensei.

That has nothing to do with anything.

Genjutsu disrupts chakra which having powerful chakra and powerful chakra control prevents that. Madara couldn't use genjutsu on Edo Hashi because I don't think genjutsu works on edos

Hashi resisted edo's control over him in base, not at max and had a smile on his face , the guy can wreck sakura's house by just standin still with a ntn but a flex of his chakra , even chakra monsters like the 3rd raikage and rinnegan/hashi amped madara were controled like orcs by a weaker et..

When it comes to hashirama senju the word genjutsu is replaced with "endjutsu".
