Why didn't Lee fight Momoshiki?

Momoshiki has no original powers, rather he absorbs Ninjutsu thrown at him and fires it back bigger. His Ninjutsu arsenal is only as good as his opponents. So, why didn't Lee fight him? Momoshiki's abilities would be useless then. Can't absorb and redirect a punch.

Pretty sure Momoshiki still had his own chakra reserve and Rinnegan tech would stomp Lee.

lees fighting in that kinda battle would've looked soo cool sasuke and naruto fights would've been secondary which is not what kishi surroundings want

Remember lee kicked sasuke and naruto ass in CQC they cant do what he doses and if they animated that fight with a hypersonic 7th gated 15yrs of hard traning lee he would've ended momoshiki in hand to hand combat and all it was mostly fist fighting any witch I'm sure lee surpasses all
