Why didn't Kurenai help at all during the Pain invasion?

If you're pregnant, you're not going out on the battlefield. You risk the life of your baby, and Shikamaru and all the other leaf shinobi would not let her fight. As she is Asuma's partner, I'm sure she knows that the "King" is the unborn children of Konoha. There is absolutely no way she will risk the life of her child.

Not saying she could have stopped him, but she's a jounin and the village was being invaded. The least she could have done was cast a genjutsu or throw a kunai or something rather than act like a frightened little housewife.

Just cuz she was pregnant doesn't mean she can't cast some genjutsus? Besides, its a known fact that when you are pregnant you should be getting 30 mins of exercise per day anyway. The paths were all split up over various parts of the village, so she could have tried to genjutsu them one at a time and have some of the other people finish them off. again, not saying she could have done much, but she's the village's top genjutsu expert and a jounin she could have at least tried to do something.

3 thing. 1. She would have drawn attention and risked her and her babies life. 2. I think they said sometime in the anime that its hard to control ur chakra when pregnant and usig it could have unwanted side effects on the baby. 3. This was pain dude. A genjustsu!? Rly?!

I'm sure she helped during Orochimaru's attack on Konoha. She was watching the Chunin Exams at the Stadium, so why would she not help? If she wasn't shown in the manga, that's simply because Kishi decided not to give her screen time.

So a thirty minute exercise is for you the same as fighting against Pain? Fighting off a powerful enemy like that isn't exactly like talking a walk in the park.
She would have been stupid to risk her baby's life if she went to fight. Aside from that, I doubt she would have been allowed to fight.
