It was implied that Kakashi was beginning to lose his sight when he faced Itachi's clone during the Gaara retrieval arc. I'll try to find the page in question.

** Found it

"How far has your eyesight deteriorated?"

Itachi then recognizes that Kakashi also has an MS, as it explains how he could know of the resulting blindness.

Kakashi eyes were fine.
What are you basing that on?

I'm not saying that he was blind or severely impaired when he faced the clone, just that to me it sounds like he'd learned firsthand of the damage caused by using the MS. That was the first clue we were given that Kakashi would lose his sight, and I seem to recall him suffering greatly from overuse during the war arc.

The fact that never said anything about losing his own vision until the war

The thread asks why Kakashi (and Obito) never went blind. We've agreed that Kakashi did eventually lose much of his vision from his overuse during the war. My original comment is merely saying that it had been implied since the beginning of part two that Kakashi would go blind from continued use.

As for "never said anything about", not everything has to be directly said, and in fact it would ruin the writing of the story if it was. Most people could work out that Sasuke was not going to willingly hand his body over to Orochimaru, mainly from how his personality was written. It would've made for childish writing to have every single detail said or thought out loud, like an internal monologue of Sasuke saying "Gee whiz, can't wait to totally betray Orochimaru!"

Ok

If kakashi was going blind kishi would of mentioned it or implied it which he didn't.

That was the entire point of my first comment. To me, it was very clearly implied that Kakashi was going to lose his eyesight. It feels like we're going in a circle here.

Iruka: It was implied, evidenced by this page.
BSK: Kakashi's eyes were fine.
Iruka: Yes at that point he wasn't blind, but it was implied he would be.
BSK: It was never said that he would go blind until the war.
Iruka: It doesn't have to be said, it could be implied.
BSK: Well then Kishimoto would've implied it.

I'll explain my first comment more, and hopefully you can see why I think it's implied.

Prior to that page I linked, Kakashi had just explained that Itachi possessed the MS. He said that the last time Itachi used it he had been fatigued by it. Kakashi then uncovered his own sharingan (not MS at this stage), and asked Itachi how much his eyesight had deteriorated. Itachi was shocked that Kakashi knew of the resulting blindness from using the MS, something that nobody outside of the Uchiha should know. This lead Itachi to say "Kakashi-san... Impossible, you...", which I believe is Itachi recognizing that Kakashi must have achieved the MS to personally know of the damage caused by its use. This was all tied together when Kakashi finally revealed his MS a few chapters later when chasing after Deidara.

I dont get how this much is needed to explain so little, youre right it's strongly implied when he asked Itachi. If he doesnt get it after that then no amount of paragraphs will make him understand.
