Why didn't itachi kill oro

itachi had no reason to kill oro at that time and since oro was not strong enough to kill him he choose to let him live ( and for those who say oro is stronger etc.... remember oro wanted the sharingan and went after sasuke cuz he could not take them from itachi because he was not strong enough

that's not what he meant,he couldnt take itachi's body bcos of his sharingan,itachi could dispel his realm like sasuke did,that's actually what itachi did the first time.cuz oro held him from behind,yet itachi managed to catch him,meaning he was alredy taking over his bodt before itachi countere with his sharingan,almost like sasuke.
