Why didn't itachi just izanami Sasuke?

I see no reason why instead of being like oh go do your thing he didn't just brainwash him like he did kabuto

"Oh itachi wouldn't do that it's OOC" is it really though? Itachi planned on using shisuis eye to literally force him into being good.


Honestly the reason people don't realize how broken izanami is is because it's so complicated.

For analog, it's good for one-night-stands but not for long relationships.

Well....It's quite difficult to answer this, as Itachi was on the "verge of death" so his actions were lead by emotions. So thinking this way, he wanted Sasuke to feel free for the first time since he manipulated him many times when alive.

If he used inzanami on sasuke or k.a . Sasuke would most likely keep relapsing into his default evil ways. Sasuke learning for himself means he understands not just thinking but a 100percent believing in being good

I undesrand why he didn't use KA,but no idea why he didn't use Izanami... actually he was sure that after his death Sasuke would go back to Konoha...and he also wanted to die probably so yah.

Well, he kinda did -- that's what the KA bird was for.

But then Itachi realized that not everything will necessarily go his way if he solely relies on his own power.

So destroyed the KA bird and stopped trying to influence Sasuke (but still, ironically, ending up influencing Sasuke).
