Why didn't Hagoromo just tell Indra and Ashura to cut it out

He's a bad father. Jk.

The conditions weren't met for his manifestation to occur or some bs. He needed someone to have rinnegan + juubi jin etc.

He was also afraid to interfere again. The first decision went tits up. As a ghost, he only has limited power to hand out. He made the right one with Naruto & Sasuke & it worked out in the end. For now anyway.

This is a good point. Same goes for Hamura and his descendants on the moon and on Earth. Both Sage brothers descendants have curses of hatred. As powerful as the sons of Kaguya are, they should've manifested themselves sooner and tried to stop the violence.
Wasn't Hamura still on the moon? And the Tenseigan didn't show up after Hamura until Toneri

I guess he only cared when Kaguya was actually on her way. Had it not been for BZ he'd probably have let them fight for all of eternity.

He didn't even have to fight them. He could have stopped them and talked to them before they ran off to pick another victim to posses. It's very much within his power. He even saw Ashura right behind Naruto.
Seeing how determined Indra was to kill his younger brother, it's very unlikely. Ashura himself was doing all the talking and didn't want their to be an issue because he loved his brother.
It's like trying to talk to Sasuke or Madara to not leave the leaf.

There was also the Branch family of the Ootsutsuki wiping out the Main Branch Ootsutsuki with the Tenseigan Altar. The Main and Branch houses of the Hyuga on Earth, never got that violent.
The ones on the moon got into wars with each other because they had differing views about Hamura's message

Because the manga preaches about each generation ending their own feud. For better or for worse. Others aren't supposed to do it for them.

Why didn't clan members talk to Madara and Hashirama about accepting their differences despite Madara's fear of Tobirama?

Why didn't adults in Konoha other than Kakashi pull Naruto or Sasuke aside and talk to them about their rivalry or the downfall of revenge? Why didn't their teammates? Literally everyone who was affiliated with them said only Naruto could save Sasuke. That was the main "lesson" Kishimoto was trying to show. That love can overcome hatred & bonds of friendship can be stronger than even familial bonds (ie: blood doesn't matter).

Whether a person chooses to agree with that or not is a different matter. But for what Kishimoto chose, I'd say he did a decent job of portraying it in a Shounen manga and doing it weekly.

It was none of their business.
