So creating the moon requires less effect to do what Kamui can do?

Because the world needs his balance as the Shinju etc is the nature itself? Bijuus can be killed temporary but they are immortal as they'll always respawn , if you dont SEAL them . He sealed the gedo mazo in the moon for this reason.

I guess - Logically it implies that Hagoromo didn't know that Black Zetsu was born when Kaguya was sealed. So at his deathbed, He created 9 tailed beasts to divide chakra & sealed gedo mezo in moon so that nobody could get it. Also he was preaching on ninshuu during his life-time so that people will connect to each other. He also thought both of his sons will spread forward his legacy of ninshuu.

However Indra took another path but he was not born with rinnegan so may be Hagoromo was convinced that rinnegan will not appear since Indra 7 Ashura are on different paths.

The black Zetsu stated that the god tree was a part of Kaguya and it's actions weren't trying to get back the chakra for itself. The god tree was an extension of Kaguya's will, merely trying to get her chakra back from Hagoromo and Hamura. They only believed the juubi was the problem, so by sealing its body in the chibaku tensei, they thought they would have dealt with the problem. Black Zetsu even stated that both Hagoromo and Hamura knew nothing about the true nature of the juubi/god tree (and they didn't know black zetsu was created), so if they had successfully sealed it, they probably wouldn't have bothered with destroying the tree because they may have believed no one knew how to un-seal Kaguya or the gedo mazo.

The Shinju is said to be the god that created the world. Perhaps it's life force is bound to the world's life force and destroying it could destroy the would or cause cataclysm. Furthermore, it's heavily implied the bijuus are immortal and can respawn.
