Why didn't Dai get Edo Tenseid?

Dai was a pretty strong ninja if you ask me if he could open 8 gates. Plus imagine just him opening 8 gates without dying he would be so beast.

also... Dead ( Edo Tensei) characters can't use jutsu that requires a heart, blood, or the sacrifice of their lives... except Deidara's.
Meaning Guy cant use 8gates, Minato & Hiruzen cant use Reaper Death Seal. If Deidara's jutsu though is attached to his heart then as an edo he cant use it... because his heart wouldn't be there. Only a dusty clay corpse. However, if the sacrifice only requires a 'SOUL' and Edo bodies are inhabited by the 'SOUL' of the dead, then maybe the sacrificial jutsu are possible. Edo bodies don't bleed or sweat so Gai wouldn't be able to use the Gates.. They aren't supposed to bleed or sweat anyway.
