[Discussion] Why didn't any of the Vizards, Urahara or Issh use their Bankai while fighting Aizen?

This has been bothering me for a long time that most of the Vizards have got a bankai but except for Kensei why didn't anyone else use their Bankai against Aizen. Isshin didn't even go Shikai and Urahara too could have used his Bankai but he didn't? Why oh why can someone explain this thing?:Omg:

I'll go with plot, plot plot.
I feel Kubo did not want to waste time coming up with Bankai that we will only see once and Bankai that would still have lost to Aizen, since Aizen was Ichigo's prey.
I believe he also did it to hype up characters like Isshin and Urahara.

Isshin did go shikai against aizen (Burn-Engetsu). May be all Vizards, Isshin, Urahara were under complete Hypnosis and seeing how momo got iced by Hitsugaya's bankai, it was too risky to use their powerful bankais. Even head captain didn't use his Bankai against Aizen. So they let their saviour Ichigo to do the job. Or Kubo used infamous Bakūdo #0-Plot to show remaining powerful bankais in the last arc.

Even with bankai, once you have seen kyouka suigetsu, the ability will still have effects on you and so it's useless to use something OP when you entire reality is being shifted as he pleases. That's the thing about aizen, you either fight him with all you've got at the beginning when you're certain that you haven;t seen his sword or get trolled.

Plus he would have regenerated form most of those bankais, maybe not shinji and uruhara since we haven't seen their's yet, but at the very best it would have the same effect as mugetsu which decreased his reiatsu significantly if I remmeber correctly

well if it was only for the sake of plot it is just a ridiculous point of view on the part of creators. I mean look at what happened with Kyoraku his bankai was so hyped up but in the end it proved to be too weak against Lille and he is the current captain commander.

Nope, Shunsui's bankai is powerful and beautiful. That half chicken is just invinible.

Don't ask questions, asking questions rarely leads to answers in Bleach. Like the question, if Getsuga Tensho was Ichigo's Quincy powers from Ywach then how and why was Kisuke able to train him to use Getsuga Tensho?

Actually i can answer this for you. Urahara never trained Ichigo to use Zangetsu.......He trained him to be prepared for battle, basics of fighting, controlling his reiatsu, building his stamina and a bit of swordplay. Ichigo learnt Getsuga on his own while training for Bankai in the soul society. If you missed it see the fight between Ichigo and Byakuya where he tells it all.

His dad is shinigami and his is engetsu so, it's pretty understandable why he thought all of those abilities were his soul reaper powers. Which I'm sure are similiar
