Why didn´t Madara go ballistic with his animal summons?

First of all, i think it´s safe to say that Nagatos rinnegan belonged to Madara and that Tobi took them from his body once he died and transplanted them to Nagato.

Madara in the latest chapter did summoning jutsu and wanted to summon the kyuubi but he was sealed so he stopped thinking about the summoning and did wood release instead.
Why didn´t the other animals come? He has the rinnegan which means he should be able to summon any animal he wants.

He´s an edo, he can use his most powerful technique without any effect or loss of chakra.

The dogs surely are useful as they just multiply everytime u hit them, he could use that to wipe them all out.
Susanoo couldn´t defend against the meteor so it isn´t an absolute defense as people claim it.

being edo doesnt mean he has unlimited supply of chakra... take other edo ninjas for instance.. -.-

and the power/chakra has to come from somewhere..................

Why didn´t he use Chibaku tensei to scrap the boulder together to make a humungous meteor and then drop it on another squadron and do it all over again.

Maybe the ones pain summoned are unique to him. I think they're dead summons from ninjas he's battled.

That makes sense, they had chakra receivers and all had rinnegan like six paths of pain which means he shared vision with the animals too.
