Why did Tobirama Senju Develop the Reanimation Jutsu?

To bring back a loved one back to "life", What was his true intentions behind developing such a grotesque jutsu? The question is, if the 2nd Hokage was a good or bad guy? Did he sacrifice living human bodies? Not sure, not sure at all..

He kind of resembles Orochimaru.. ..who's his lineage?

are you a moron? i said besides water, that means water is not included. before you try to troll you should really look at what you are responding to. and the other jutsus we know that he had was reanimation, which is pretty sinister, and the bringer of darkness technique which puts your opponent in infinite darkness. those are pretty evil if you ask me

My mistake and I wasn't trolling. Reanimation or Edo Tensei is an exception. Bringer of darkness is necessary an evil jutsu just becasue it blinds the enemy.

Just a thought, Tobi will probably say, "The 2nd Hokage and I.." Or "I was a failed experiment of the 2nd Hokage, so as he thought!", "I was the youngest of the senju brothers..", "Who am I?" and, The 2nd Hokage speaking, "I've always been jealous of my older brother."

Maybe After the Madara VS Hashirama fight, Tobirama began "experimenting" from the remains of the two warriors, not necessarily from the dead bodies, but from the leftover blood from Madara and Hashirama, ..just maybes.

...furthermore to my guessing, He resembles Orochimaru, white skin, markings of his face, and edo tensei! okay i'm done lol
