Why did the elders blame Tsunade?

After Naruto defeated Pain, at the meeting where Danzo is trying to become the next Hokage, the elders blame Tsunade for what happened to the village! They tried to force her into not informing Naruto about the village, and if they had succeeded, Pain probably would have slaughtered everyone in the village. It's true that if the 1st, 2nd, 3rd in his prime, or 4th Hokage bad been there instead then they would have killed Pain, but Tsunade's healing would have saved countless lives if Nagato didn't just revive everyone anyway. I'm seriously beginning to despise the elders, along with Danzo. It seems that whenever they interfere nothing good happens.

She wouldn't have beaten Pain if Jiraiya couldn't do it. Healing the village was the best way for her to protect it. At the time, I don't think there was anyone else who could've done a better job as the Hokage. Jiraiya was the only person in Konoha who was stronger than her, and he didn't want to be Hokage. I do think that if there had been more Jounin in the village at the time, and if they had been more organised in that surprise attack, then they could've driven Pain away without Naruto. Tsunade, Shizune, Yamato, Kakashi, Guy, Anko, and maybe the older ino shika cho combo could've taken on the 6 pains I believe. Yamato, Anko and Guy were out of the village however, Shizune and Kakashi died, Inoichi was busy, and Chouza almost died.

That's quite interesting actually. I would've expected Danzo to spam kotoakatsukami on the Hokage. Maybe he just didn't want to go blind in that eye.
