Why did Taka stay with Orochimaru?

It's been 14 years since the war ended, and Oro recruited Karin, Sui and Juugo during Part 1. Why have they stayed with Oro that long? Is life with the snake man, really not all that bad? I mean, Karin, Sui and Juugo aren't Oro d-flappers like Kabuto.

Karin and Jugo were willing servants to him. Suigetsu is probably there for his own goals. Say what you like, but oro has also remained loyal to them

Juugo is loyal because of Kimimaro.

Suigetsu, well... probably because he has nowhere else to go.

And Karin... Orochimaru gives her probably the best research and medical experience opportunities she could dream of. After all, he took care of her for so many years.

Where else should they go? And living with Orochimaru seems to be quite interesting and nice.

The Last happened two years later, making Naruto 19.

Boruto was born after his parents were married. Presumably the Ino-Shika-ChoCho and Sarada were born around the same time as Bortuo.

Chapter 700 happens 10 years after the war. This makes Naruto 27 and his son 7 years old.

Gaiden began with Shino talking to Boruto's class about the headband exam. An exam that 12 year old academy students take.

So, it's been 14 years since Kaguya was sealed.

Gaiden happens 5 years after chapter 700. Sarada and Boruto are first year academy students in chapter 700. Meaning they would be 7 years old.
