Nah, Kusanagi had a european sword design and it was able to stretch with no limit. I think Sasuke named his katana after Orochimaru's blade because he can pierce anything when he uses them with lightning.

Oro's sword has more special abilities but they're the same brand.

Kusanagi does not always mean Kusanagi no Tsurugi. Sometimes its refer to the type of sword. What Sasuke had was Kusanagi typed blade.
