Add Amaterasu to Chidori? He already acknowledged it useless against Naruto so why waste the chakra he took from Kyuubi on it? What benefits did it give Chidori? I can't think of any. The fires from Amaterasu are suppose to burn a long time but whey dey at though?

He had no chakra to extinguish them so I think Narutos rasengan extinguished them. Its official. Rasengan > Amaterasu.

Amaterasu was all it took for itachi to escape from the toads belly that breathed fire.
Amaterasu was also all it took sasuke to nearly kill the 8 tails.

But for some reason gara's sand blocked it lol and naruto's chakra cloak protected him .
It should have gone through everyone and everything like a Hot knife in butter

Sasuke's rinnegan eye is the one that casts amaterasu. He couldn't use that eye ever since he tried amaterasu the first time on naruto, probably because of chakra issues.

Sasuke also put all his chakra into the enton chidori. If Sasuke held back chakra on his chidori, amaterasu hits naruto, and naruto's rasengan kills sasuke.
