Why did Orochimaru never give Kabuto CM?

Why did Kabuto never get the curse mark, he has great chakra, he would of survived for sure.

Edit: lol only read the title, but I don't think part 1 could've survived the process. Sasuke barley did and he was an uchiha w special reserves

Oro didnt want to risk it,it's not about power,it's about compatibility. Kabuto may not have been compatible,and he was very useful.
