Why did Obito run away from Itachi(Naruto movie 6)?

Kishi has hinted in the manga that Itachi would have beaten Obito. Kishi wrote the movie and basically reconfirmed it. It's a great what if battle.

The story for Road to Ninja was strictly written by Kishimoto, so it's not a surprise that Itachi > Obito just like in the manga.

Here's the translation on their encounter:

1.) Alternate universe. In this universe Itachi was the leader of the Akatsuki. You can't judge this Itachi by normal universe standards duh.

2.) Tobi and Itachi never fought bc for both of their plans picking unnecessary fights that could endanger their entire goal is pointless and stupid.
