Dominance and greed. There exists people in this world that want to be in control of what ever goes on it, they would do all they can to keep a firm grip on their power. Any nation that doesn't bow down will get destroyed one way or another.

Ghadaffi was not removed by any power within Libya but by external agencies with secretive ulterior motives

Number 3 is a bit f*cked though, but holy shit, the rest are crazy.

Thanks guys but if he was committing crimes or killing his own people wasn't it suppose to be addressed at the U.N.?
Nah, he wasn't really killing them. That was just an excuse for us to go airstrike the f*ck out of them.

He wasn't doing anything bad that the NATO countries themselves haven't done. The UN is an organisation that is used as a front to fool people. In truth it is dominated by the powers that are the architects of war and suffering. The UN itself has committed war crimes.

The UN is a bunch of balls-sack. I think it should be disbanded. How are you gon to bomb a whole country without making sure citizens are not in the crossfire?

They should have evacuated the citizens first because who knows who was taken, hostage. That's why I support ground troops instead of relying on the flimsy information. They have no clue what they are bombing.

Yup the UN should be disbanded.

On the contrary the UN does know what they are hitting. There was a hospital they machine gunned using helicopters and when they are asked why they did that they responded "We knew what we were hitting....".

Apparently Middle Easterners like to kill their own people even when they have high approval from them.
Yeah, they fight amongst themselves; sheer madness.

OT: Because Gaddafi was mad and dangerous. A serial rapist (esp. of underage), murderer and torturer, he and his cronies made plans to starve areas of Libya and bombard Misrata (and from Gaddafi's own lips "turn the blue sea red").

No interest on loans, free electricity so what? "Oh he's given us free leccy, so I'm sure we can overlook the odd murder or rape" - is that how it is? 'Cause it was that same system he created that made Libya's economy hit nil and the money pit empty.

NATO intervened because Gaddafi was killing his own people. As far as he was concerned, anyone who questioned (or those he didn't like) him were to be killed or booted out. He even killed those who tried to flee their own country for their lives.

It's just a shame NATO were slow to act.
