There has to be some kind of significance in this scene otherwise Kishi would not have drawn it. Personally, whether I like it or not, I think Madara isn't done yet. It's hard to believe someone like him being defeated that easily. If Madara was to come back in whatever form (clone or something), I'd bet my house that his return had something to do with that scene of him tapping the ground with his fingers.
