Why did Madara absorb Hashirama's senjutsu ? It didn't do anything

Madara defeated SM Naruto with ease without Hashirama's senjutsu, I don't think he needed any boost.

Senjutsu allows one to be faster, stronger, more durable and with pre-cog that makes up for Madara's blindness at the moment. Without his Rinnegan, it was a very useful bonus that allowed him to survive the Bijuu's onslaught, and plus, it could imbue his Susanoo with senjutsu chakra and make it much stronger.

Zetsu even mentions that Madara isn't playing it safe, like having his arm torn off. Madara doesn't care cause he has Hashi's SM to heal himself and zetsu for new body parts.

Oh man.. why are there so many people who don't get what is going on in this manga.
Recognizing a very powerful chakra of your best friend/rival =/= being able to fight with no eyes.

Madara had some sensorial skills, yes, but that does not mean his skills were so good that he could fight an EMS-User, a Jinchuuriki with senjutsu, multiple Bijuu and a shinobi alliance with no eyes. Madara indeed needed the sensory-boost of Hashirama's sage mode in the first place.

He had Hashirama's healing-skills before that due to the freaking face on his chest. Also, he healed his arm (that was stabbed by Sasuke) with absorbing chakra of some random ninja, as you can see here. Look at Madara's foot down below. It's the same, nameless technique he used to absorb Hashirama's SM. It was never said that Hashirama's healing is based on his sage mode and Obito healed himself too, because of his Hashirama-Zetsu cells.

Madara didn't seem to gain anything from Hashirama's SM, he expected Hashirama's SM to be powerful which is the reason why he absorbed the SM. When Madara was revived by rinne rebirth he regained his past powers and Hagoromo's rikudo chakra, so he really didn't need Hashirama's SM.
