Sasuke does not need to hit to be a hit in this Anime/manga. His one glare with his eyes is enough to win many hearts. If any one thinks Sasuke is a fodder than they haven't seen the rest of part 2 to judge that. In fact I am pretty sure this is some other Sasuke from another manga the op is refering to. Because honestly the Sasuke I see is no fodder.

No longer required? Who can cancel out the Tsukuyomi?Who has the other half of the Sage's power? Who is the other half required to seal Kaguya? He's also 1/4 of Team 7 who's combined teamwork helped Sakura land a hit.

I don't think the name Sasuke should be in the same sentence with the word fodder. Sasuke has been instrumental in the fighting since his decision to help the alliance.

Please remember the genre of the manga. Major victories have to be the result of teamwork.

What has he done to prove himself useful? Nothing. He couldn't even hit Kaguya, and Naruto and Sakura could. Who knows, maybe Naruto and Sasuke will fail to seal Kaguya, so his moon seal will be useless, just as he is.
