wow that is a good find! but now that you have that proof and you know only Danzo's ROOT would try and do such a thing, you must ask why? why would he go after poor little Rin? a traitor/ spy maybe? maybe part of a long lost powerful clan that Danzo wanted the secrets to?..

Honestly I have no idea why. For some reason I have a feeling Madara played a hand in this though. Now that the former Kage, including Minato, are heading to the battlefield I don't think it will be long until we find out.

Minato entering the battlefield creates opportunity for discussion to come up about that day. No doubt Obito harbors ill will towards Minato for not having been there to prevent Rin's death.

For Madara to convert Obito. If Madara didn't play a hand in this then he must have the ability to see the future.

there are too many possibilities:
she had some info
her body was special
someone wanted her dead and they were sent to kill her
she found out they were ROOT
something, something
I mean who can really know Danzo's true motives

+ it could've been Madara that had a finger in it, like I believe that Obito had a finger in the whole killing of Yahiko(I mean he was standing in Obito's way of manipulationg Nagato to become evil)


+ I remember Kakashi asking Obito "aren't you going to blame me for Rin's death" which I think means that he killed her knowingly, and not controlled by genjutsu, cause if it was genjutsu it's not that much his fault, but he was pushed to do it

otherwise Obito would've killed Kakashi and be done with it, but since he knows that it was like I think Konoha shinobi forcing Kakashi to do it, that's why he wants to remove the "shinoby system"

it's either because Rin had something in her body that the bloody mist wanted because they said at least take the girl's body or it was a massive genjutsu which is very possible because everything happened at the right time to change obito and obito said to kakkashi it's because you killed rin , later kakkashi said is it because of rin ?? this could also mean that kakkashi was confused somehow or he did in fact kill her .....
