Why did ino and chouji

Bother go to fight hidan and kakazua . They did nothing and caused kakashi to go the defense to protect them through tout the fight . Kakashi literally fought both akatsuki by himself draining his charka as well having to save them.

Also when naruto got there and Yamato they were so much more useful . Then ino and chouji telling naruto what to do , when they did nothing since he got there . Naruto ended fighting 1 vs 1 with akatsuki showing how much stronger he is in comparison . Tbh it should of been team kakashi with naruto , Yamato and sai . Even though asuma team wanted revenge they were far too weak and the only reason they won is because kakashi is Kage level.

they miss judge the overall threat that the duo had, but still had an chance to do some small part. since they had Shikamaru who was planning out some traps and tactics to reduce there power.

don't need to be powerful to win an battle just to be able to adept an use what you have an turn the tide of the battle.

They did nothing besides let kakashi fight 1vs2

to me, i liked Kakashi more since he was attacking them and protecting his team mates at the same time.. it
showed how strong and powerful he was

I guess they wanted to do the Ino-Shika-Cho. Although Shikamaru's strategy revolved mostly around himself (and then he included Kakashi), at least when it came to Hidan; guess he wanted to make his revenge more personal.

And yeah, IIRC they didn't know of Kakuzu's abilities much, so they underestimated the threat.

They wanted to go bc there teacher was killed by them, but tbh when you look at the threat level they were really out of there league in that fight. I mean shika had great strategies but his team - mates had limited abilities to pull them off. It does speak to shika intellegence that they did as well as they did.
